QUALIFICATIONS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.

At least 2 years’ experience in active buying

With good understanding of the procurement process and supply base management is an advantage
-
Preferably with experience specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.

Has basic knowledge on accounting processes and procedures and on good documentation practices

Must be willing to work in Tingub, Mandaue City

Ensures purchasing policies and procedures are abided, to maintain business controls and work within high ethical standards.

Manages key and strategic commodities critical to business operations that may require focused effort and relationship development.

Responsible in purchasing of supplies and other services to support the plant operation

Monitors, expedites, and negotiates delivery of orders to ensure continuity of supply.

Processes purchase requisitions for the assigned commodities efficiently. Examines and analyzes departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information; contact department or requestor to clarify or complete necessary information; determines method to process requisition based on amount, timeliness required, existing open contracts, and/or competitive bidding
