Brigada Eskwela

The Brigada Eskwela or National Schools Maintenance Week aims to bring together the spirit of “Bayanihan” amongst private  institutions/individuals, government agencies, local government units, and other organizations to participate and contribute their time, effort, and resources to prepare public school facilities for the opening of the school year. Since 2015, TIIC has been supporting the Brigada Eskwela Program of the Department of Education. Every year the company chooses a school beneficiary sponsoring all the paint materials and manpower. TIIC has chosen Mabini Integrated School as the recipient for the SY 2019-2020. Employee volunteers do minor repairs, repainting, and cleaning of school grounds. True enough, the activity can be physically draining and exhausting; but the satisfaction of having been able to make a little difference for the students is priceless.

Employee Appreciation Day

November 30, 2019, TIIC – iPak launched its first-ever “Employee Appreciation Day”. The company may have been busy throughout the year, but the management wanted to dedicate a day to give back to its employees. Days prior to the main event, games such as volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and basketball, were commenced through round-robin matches to determine the teams for the championship events. These activities helped the employees to bond, make new friends, and develop camaraderie and teamwork. Aside from the main games event, there were also Filipino and parlor games that the employees enjoyed. There was a 100m run for male and female contenders, a game of patintero, jump rope and hula hoop. Winners were given awards, and everyone received a bag of grocery items for them to bring back home. It was not easy to facilitate an event with over 400 participants in it, but at the end of the events, those exhausted faces from work turned into genuine smiles made it all worth it. This is the management’s way of saying that no matter what your role is in the company, everyone is family, valuable, appreciated, and respected.
